Hurry, scurry
Worry, flurry
There go the grown-ups
To the office, to the store
Subway crush, traffic rush
No wonder Grown-ups don't grow up anymore
It takes a lot of slow to grow.
~ a poem by Eve Merriam ~
These days, it's not only grown ups, but also children who hurry from one thing to another. Our children rush between Little League and computer class, birthday parties and piano lessons.Worry, flurry
There go the grown-ups
To the office, to the store
Subway crush, traffic rush
No wonder Grown-ups don't grow up anymore
It takes a lot of slow to grow.
~ a poem by Eve Merriam ~
For our children, as well as for us, there isn't always time to see, to wonder, to pretend and to dream...
